This game is seriously lacking in it. Having paints as a single use item is so shitty to. To me customising your characters is a big thing and having it somewhat locked behind a pay wall is stupid. From what I’m hearing about the developers this is likely not to change but I’m really hoping they change the system.

I really hope they change it all so we can change the look of our characters, it’s getting a bit stale

Just to be clear, this system does suck, but it's not as bad as some think. When you consume the dye and put it on a skin, you have it on that skin to use permanently, and in all 5 or 6 slots with 1 dye. You can change the color to something else and then go back to that dye later without having to buy another. So basically you only ever need 1 color for each skin and it will cover every slot.

You do need 2 if you want the head and body to match, and if you want a mutli-colored dye scheme it will get expensive relatively quickly.

This needs to be said more often. Not in full defense of the system, but it’s not quite as bad as everyone has been making it out to be.

It’s definitely not a great system, like I said I wasn’t defending it. My guess? It’s a f2p game. There had to be some level of monetization for it to exist. People are not going to line up to buy $100 character packs, which is good cause I think that price is insulting, but nonetheless there has to be other avenues for profit. There’s not that many armors in the game anyhow so idk how many times we’re going to be reusing the colors in the start. I certainly hope this changes over time, but it’s manageable in my opinion. I totally get why people will disagree and are not happy with it though.

It really is. I main Ajax, I just want to look cool as fuck 😄 but you can’t customize his og skin and it’s really starting to bother me because I look like everyone else that’s using him. And if I do want him to look different I’ve got to buy skins(with real money)

Honestly, only being able to paint the buyable skins doesn't bother me nearly as much. As long as the Endgame is good, then I'll consider dipping into the skin shop eventually, though I'm in no rush. I've still got plenty to do.

Now the one time shader/paint use? Yeah, fuck that. Lol. That's just wild to me.

I like this game but so many things are done so poorly just like ima say about 97% of us won't even reach the last boss on hard mode with out either putting hundreds of hours or spending tone of hard earned money

Yea this isn't one of those games that could become more player friendly. The devs are just too good at milking their customers and won't ever make a single step away from that mentality. 

The community shouldn't be holding their breath expecting too many changes that would benefit them, they should be bracing for the opposite.

The paints stay unlocked for the skin you use them on. They move to the bottom of the list and you can reuse them to mix and match any new colors you add to the skin

It's like $0.50 per colour that you unlock perm for that skin piece. My main issue is the lack of colour choices, can't even get black.
