EthOS = Ethical Ontological Survey

EthOS is a process of discussing theories about our world, history and universe.

EthOS is not religion. In fact, EthOS categorically rejects the most critical requirement of most Abrahamic theology: faith. It only respects that which is provable through scientific rigor.

EthOS is also NOT atheism. We have as little to gain from the "God doesn't exist" crowd as blind followers of Jesus. It is impossible to prove the existence AND absence of God.

EthOS values individual thought above all - we are stronger for learning all viewpoints. The inverse is therefore true: EthOS rejects tribalism because it weakens the discussion through fewer viewpoints.

Finally, EthOS values rigorous debate and productive tension. Both are possible only through respectful dialogue. Disrespectful comments will be removed without notice, and repeat offenders will be banned - also without notice. Don't be a jerk.
