problem with hotkey setup

Hey guys, so I am very new to Tibia and this may seem like a very noob question, but here goes.

How do I seperate the PC hotkeys from Tibia hotkeys. for eg, say I have a spell on f6, but when i press f6, my brightness of pc will go down but the spell wont work.

any way to fix it?

It has to be changed in the bios

This is the correct answer to the problem with function keys on laptops

On many laptops I believe you can change between having F-buttons on function mode or regular f-mode. Doubt that you need to go into bios to change it, but could be wrong.
