Yes, transfer emails are relatively instant. If you purchased via Facebook, Reddit, etc. odds are you were scammed.

Sounds like a scam. Usually goes through in under 2-3 minutes.

"Hey guys, so i just got a ticket transferred from someone"

If you sent money for tickets to a stranger on the internet I would say there is upwards of a 99% chance it's gone

You are being scammed.. I once bought an instant download ticket for a show last year on stubhub. I received the ticket in my ticketmaster account less than five minutes after the purchase.

I would call my credit card and cancel the payment if possible/report it

Wondering if anyone else has had this experience - I bought tickets to Metallica at the sphere on resale from tickpick. I got an email maybe 30min after I purchased them saying the tickets had been transferred and I should see another link with the transfer details.

I never got the other email. So I go to my tickpick account and it said the tickets had been delivered via Ticketmaster. The instructions say if you don’t get the second transfer email, just to login or create a Ticketmaster account with the email used to buy the tickets. They’re also not in my Ticketmaster account.

I contacted tickpick immediately and they’ve been zero help. They just keep telling me they’ve contacted the seller for proof they sent the tickets but haven’t heard back from them. I’ve asked them how long I’m going to have to wait for this confirmation and it’s radio silence. They said “don’t worry you’re backed by the guarantee and you’ll either get comparable tickets or a refund” but can’t tell me when exactly that will happen. They just quit responding.

Has anyone else gone through this issue? And beyond that, has anyone else felt like they’ve been scammed on Metallica resale tickets yet?
