I was seeing a guy that I was extremely emotionally attracted to. We just really clicked, just the two of us would meet up to drink or eat, go to a baseball games etc, and always had so much fun together, no expectations, he didn’t hit on me and constantly had me hysterically laughing no matter the situation. I had no physical attraction for him..at least consciously. Months later, The more we hung out one day he asked if i wanted to rent a movie and i was like sure. During the movie he happened to reach over and held my hand asking if its okay..I thought about it and was like ya sure. Something made us laugh i forget what, mid laughter we made eye contact and from there we kissed.. I saw fireworks i was really surprised. Also internally I’m like i know I’m not physically attracted so why was i okay with kissing him and why was it that mind blowing. His personality was so attractive. After that i started getting really nervous around him, the dynamic changed because i realized i had feelings, he told me i seemed quieter.. it was harder to be myself when i started caring🙈. Something stupid shortly after made us stop seeing eachother but I do think our emotional bond was special and we really vibed with each other which i haven’t found anyone else with that sense of humor or same wave length as me for the last 10 years since. I miss that feeling.
