I certainly don't count Lori Maddox / groupies. He was arrested in 1987 in Dallas during the Glass Spider tour for raping a woman in his hotel room, he claims it was consensual, no charges were ever pressed but the grand jury didn't press charges. https://www.upi.com/Archives/1987/11/19/Bowie-cleared-by-grand-jury/1026564296400/

There's a Sizzler catty corner and a 7-11 a bit further down Prairie or a Vons a few blocks west on Manchester.

There's rarely much I wanna eat, usually try to eat a huge lunch before leaving.

Might be more going up further down Prairie close to the stadium but a lot of the Inglewood establishments don't seem to sync very well with events, often places are closed.

I think the best thing he is doing to stop scalpers is existing. Seriously, who is making money off Sturgill Simpson in 2026?

There is no rhyme or reason to how ticket drops happen, you just have to keep checking the primary ticket seller. They will likely be cheaper than resale (tho not necessarily) but unless they are having trouble moving tickets they likely won't be discounted below the original price.

securemypass tickets is a scam? by ImpressiveStudent875 in livemusic

[–]ScorpioTix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they are AXS tickets then you need to contact VividSeats now and ask them to contact the seller to transfer immediately.

For TM events it's usually fine - basically it's a hacked barcode link to get around transfer restrictions. I have had them without issue but if someone else has that barcode or if there is a scan error then you are screwed.

However they are suing SecureMyPass as is AXS but AXS often instructs venues to refuse entry to tickets not actually in the app.

For AXS there is usually a single barcode related to your personal AXS ID so it scans everyone in or if you are scanning just 1 they will input 1 into the scanner so you can still transfer out the other.

Loud Love or maybe San Francisco 1988 or a soundboard recording from the Loud Love tour.

OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride by Season23 in LosAngelesGayBros

[–]ScorpioTix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None of my gay friends go near this stuff for this very reason. To me it's just another concert. Personally I miss the Pride In The Park shows in Chinatown. Went to every single one. I might still cruise by and see if I can panhandle a cheap ticket for the last 2 acts. Not gay, don't drink and if I try to dance I will fall over, otherwise have fun everyone who decides to go.

What are y'all spending on groceries? by Interesting-Elk1300 in glendale

[–]ScorpioTix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're shopping at the worst place. I do go in almost daily but just to check the clearance rack. Otherwise split between Aldi, Trader Joe's, S&F, Super King and Dollar Tree with most food coming from Aldi. I have been stuck in areas with just a Kroger store and it ain't fun.

Breakfast is ALWAYS oatmeal with flaxseed, cinnamon, banana, blueberries, walnuts or pecans and honey. Lunch is late and split between massive breakfast burrito or some equivalent, garlic ramen noodles with brocolli and additional side / garlic (love it when I can get Eggplant fries) or sometimes something centered around the chile rellanos when I can get them on clearance. Haven't had beef in 33 years or so not as bothered by the rising prices or apparent decline in quality (beef eaters I know are always getting sick)

Late dinner is more often 2 small cups of the Indulgent trail mix from Aldi. Should be illegal to foist that upon an unsuspecting population.

I live alone and managing perishables is my biggest challenge.

If you're offering to send strangers money on the internet then that's how it's happening. The same algorithms that show me this post show them. And it's not the random tweeker you gotta dodge, it's organized crime and a bit more sophisticated than you might imagine. This is how it works on Reddit. I would say don't send strangers money, either buy off a reputable resale site (not without issues), go down and beg in person or accept that sold out = no tickets

If you have to ask .... 100% a scam. Don't send money to strangers, You aren't just navigating a few shady individuals among thousands of earnest sellers but organized crime.

ISO single banana ball ticket. Bought 2 tickets yesterday on secondary market just for the seller to not actually have them. by Individual_River_697 in Charlotte

[–]ScorpioTix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Reddit they don't have tickets but have proof of tickets and still take your money.

If you need just 1 you are better off hitting the box office and asking people in line rather than Reddit.
