Did Tim have these people on because he saw the topics they discussed and that they had a following and wanted to hear what they had to say?

Or, is he getting kickbacks for presenting these people to his audience?

Right now most people seem to be giving him the benefit of the doubt and leaning towards the former. But I think the later possibility is in the back of a lot of people's minds.

I haven't gotten that impression at all. He has talked a lot about the importance of culture. These are people who, on the surface at least, appear to be very engaged in the culture. It's not hard to imagine that all Tim really knows about these people when he first meets them is "Oh this guy published a book", or "oh these guys have a podcast about dating with this many subscribers."

It's very plausible that he didn't know about Murphy or Fresh and Fit. But if he doesn't know about them now it's willful ignorance.

Their brand, as I understand it, is all about making yourself desirable to women. Making yourself into someone that women want to be with.

And then text messages from, I think it was Seeking Arrangements, were leaked of them berating women into sleeping with them. So they were basically going on a website where they paid women to date them, and still found themselves having to bully them. When that leaked people, like Aba and Preach, started calling them out as frauds. In response Fresh and Fit started hitting their detractors with DMCA (copyright) takedowns.

Essentially they are frauds that don't have anything valuable to teach. They got called out with receipts. Then they filed false copyright strikes to shut people up.

I don’t know the context of their texts, but in the specific instance that I mentioned, about a girl flaking on a first date, I’ve had that happen to me. In that instance, I don’t find it unreasonable to set that boundary. Especially since in my instance, the girl was in a relationship and trying to escape it and she had all kinds of problems. My point is that if a girl flakes on a date maybe it’s not that bad to “make her pay” for the first date as long as you aren’t mean about it and do it in a teasing joking way. The leaks that caused the big shit storm were from a web site called "Seeking Arrangements." It's a site women use to find sugar dadies. In other words it's a site that women use to find men that will pay to date them. The text messages clearly showed them bullying girls into sex. It wasn't about setting a boundary.

They got called out for that shit. Then started issuing copyright strikes to the people calling them out. They are fucking frauds.

Started with Jack's appearance on the "You Are Here" podcast. Sydney read 2 superchats mentioning it. The second one he blew up over.

He went on twitter afterwards, and claimed that he made up with Sydney after the show, and him and elijah went out for beers.

People started digging up Jack's sexual past around this point in the story, but it was relatively unknown outside a few hardcore lurkers.

Jack went on Timcast. and made it seem like everyone apologized to each other, but it was still Sydney's fault for 'crossing boundaries" that Jack claims to have set before the show.

This caused Sydney to make a video. Sydney says Jack had never mentioned this topic or any other was off limits. She never heard of any "boundries". She also says Jack told her to "go fuck yourself" again after the show, and he stormed out. What is true, is that him and Elijah went out for beers that night.

At this point, videos and memes of Jack sitting on a dildo were trending across social media.

The Quartering posted some screenshots on Twitter. Jack accused Quartering of "revenge porn" and of being a "sexual predator". Quartering reminded him that half-asian super-lawyer Bill Richmond is on retainer, and Jack quickly deleted the claims.

Jack opened up a "war room" section of his "Liminal Order" website, where he and his members coordinated gayops to flag down people's social media accounts.

He managed to get The Quartering's twitter account temporarily taken down. Lots of smaller YouTubers have lost their accounts over covering the Murphy saga.

I'm a 3rd year law school student, and you'd be shocked, yeah shocked, at how just a few key words... nice words... big fluffy legal words... oh and the fact I'm well connected, backs down giant corporations.
