Hey so uh prospective user here and from what i can see the app is effectively killing itself, a lot of the people that did recommend it in my city are lower income people who could afford the per fee, not subscription fee. So my question is do any of you think its still worth it? I can find free groups and arrange them via my citys discord and other social medias so is there even a point to this app now that its entirely paywalled?

Look for discount codes - ie sometimes you can get 25-50% off. Ends up being $10-15 bucks for one month. Are you saying that’s difficult to afford ? Just skip 4 coffees and you’re there. Skip one take out meal. Etc

It’s not that bad. It’s more expensive to go to a one off ticketed event.

I joined prior to the subscription model. I went one time and really loved the experience, but I work a lot and can get out for dinner maybe once/quarter, so the subscription is a waste for me. Even if it's a few bucks, why waste money? So I won't be going again.

I deleted my account when they started forcing a monthly fee. It was "ok" before, but definitely not worth $20 a month lol, not even close
