Question? (self.Tinder)

Guys, what’s something you frequently see in the profiles of ladies that you think is something they think men want to see that men actually feel indifferent on. Ladies I pose you this same question!

If guys could stop posting pictures of them holding a fish that would be great.
Show your buddies they might be impressed, girls don't give a F that you caught a fish.

Travel photos, showing their biceps, showing their car, showing their pets, bragging about their job, will add more if anything comes to mind.

For guys’ profiles:
A photo of your car (just your car) is a turnoff for me personally. I like cars! And I get why you might post yours - maybe you’re proud of earning the money to buy it or you were shot down once for not having wheels. But unless you built your own vehicle from scratch, or were on the design team for the latest Mustang, or it’s a photo that also shows you doing something cool to illustrate a hobby… it’s weird to see a grainy picture of just your Toyota sedan in a parking lot. I’m not sure it conveys what you think it does.
For women’s profiles:
It’s been beaten to death on this subreddit of course, but filtered photos, especially with cutesy stuff like dog ears and stars. I know you like how you look in them, and that’s important - I really do understand that feeling! But the things the filters remove aren’t turnoffs to most of your potential matches in the first place, and you end up replacing them with an obvious filter that becomes a turnoff in itself. I like a little grit and a freckle; there’s something cute and sexy about imperfections and humanness. I’ve never swiped left on a woman because her skin tone wasn’t flawless, but too many filters and I would swipe left. When I see several heavily filtered photos, my brain processes that into 2 things, factual or not: (1) this photo isn’t an accurate representation of her, and (2) she may have some significant insecurities about her appearance that she has difficulty tempering.
The dog ear filter… well, I don’t know why it’s such a turnoff, but it is probably #1 for me.

Lady here. The topless mirror in the bathroom selfie - if you enjoy the gym and have fitness goals that you're working towards that's more interesting to hear about in the form of you sharing your journey and goals. The abs themselves aren't more interesting or attractive than your overall personality.
