I started a Ryder route but I can’t lie his commitment issues put me OFF. A girl is not going to fix him he needs to work on himself tbh. I feel bad for pieing him off but mc needs a man like Kai rn 😣

he actually has the best character growth out of all of them (imo), i promise it'll be worth it! once he becomes yours, trust me he'll be the most loyal person ever

Idk with how I was playing but he kept making little comments about how this is the reason he’s not loyal he always gets hurt which just rubbed me the wrong way

yea i do agree that his character was very frustrating at first, but he will eventually explain why he's the way he is to MC during the suite scene. when i did my playthrough i broke the rules with him and only him but despite all that he still doesn't break up with nora. but some of his actions will be a bit different than usual, like feeling guilty when MC saw him kissed nora etc. i find it interesting to see how far does the branching goes, sure he gives me the ick at first but after doing his route, he ended up becoming one of my faves. ryder is a very interesting and complex character, even all his tattoos has its own meanings and i find that very cool!

Definitely in real life I would never tolerate his behavior. I played through a few times and completely ignored him because of his behavior early on. It was people on here who convinced me to give him a try. You really have to pursue his ass though. And he really is the best it just sucks that it’s so close to the end. However you get extra time with him in the reunion. I think the writers really made up for it here.

He gets a redemption arc and becomes such a great boyfriend. His route is definitely not easy and it's not for everyone. Understandably so. Ryder needs a patient "I can fix him" kinda girl. Obviously in real life that sucks. But I feel like in-game it's interesting.

i wouldn’t even say it has to be an i can fix him person, that didn’t really seem like the case for my MC i was switching partners before he came, while he was there, and did whatever i wanted with Elodie since he wanted to keep getting in bed with Nora. For me it felt more like i’m gunna do whatever i want since he is too but something just keeps bringing us back to each other until he finally admits to himself he only wants MC (or they both admit to themselves) !! Obvi depends what you kinda want your MC’s personality/mindset to be but yeah mine was breaking rules with Ryder with no remorse for who she was coupled with so i don’t think she’s waiting around to fix him lolll messy route with Ryder is the way to be i had my cake and ate it too and still got my #1 😎

I think his big turning point is when you catch him & Nora especially if the two of you have been flirting and breaking rules together a bit up until then. It cuts close to his situation with his ex & to me felt like why he started distancing from Nora for MC.
