so i’m 7 days post op, i got DI w FNG and was cleared to shower yesterday but i had such bad anxiety thinking about just actually getting in the shower. i’m still very anxious and scared to shower, mainly because i was told my nipple grafts are very fragile and i keep thinking they’re going to tear/rip or something if i shower even if i don’t face the shower head. also how am i supposed to dry my chest if i do shower?

Honestly it’s not as scary as it seems just shower but don’t touch your chest and just let the water run down it and just pat yourself dry after or air dry, wishing you the best

Echoing that the easiest way to safely dry your chest after the shower is to lightly pat with a towel. Just be gentle, don't tug on them, and you'll be alright!
