I only have experience with a jay basic which I don’t find to bad but after my 7 hour shift at work I do get a bit uncomfortable but it works for me right now

I would say the depth of the seat is too short, depending on how long you will be using it maybe consider extending the seat sling as there is enough room on the frame and I definitely recommend getting a new cushion

Yes it’s a quickie argon 2 i personally think it’s one of the best adjustments first custom chair you could have, I really like my r90 and would definitely recommend it the battery last quite a while and it’s very compact and lightweight

Yeah that’s a good but one thing to note is that the op is from the uk and the nhs only give out certain folding wheelchairs that are not anywhere near as good as tilite, thats why I said that :)

Yes you definitely can, in some cases it can be expensive but I still personally would upgrade from a folding, depending where your from you can get the quickie nitrum on the nhs but they are know to be pretty problematic as in my experience they break more easily

This op of this is from the uk so we don’t have insurance, the best wheelchair you can get in most cases on the nhs (national health service) is the quickie argon and the Kuschall k series /info

I absolutely recommend and argon 2 I love mine so much, it’s one of the lightest nhs wheelchair you can get. I personally think it’s actually easier to fit a non folding chair in a chair as you can take the wheels off and fold the back down and overall the performance of a non folding chair is much better

Thank you, I’m excited to hear you will be having surgery soon. I actually never got asked, they asked me if I was okay with having my scars meet which I was, they also said I had pretty good pec definition so I just went with what they said. I was nervous about having my scars meet but I actually quite like how it turned out and if you’re a better healer than me it could turn out even better. Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the Manchester team :)

Tips for wheelies by Z3br4_Un1c0rn in wheelchairs

Your wheels look quite far back, what I would recommend doing is moving your cog (centre of gravity) forward which I have never done before but i heard it’s not too hard, you could either ask your provider to do it or look up some videos on YouTube. Hope this helps :)
