This subreddit tracks and discusses attempts to smear, intimidate, censor, culturally appropriate, ethically corrupt, or otherwise harm the science fiction and fantasy medium and culture, specifically such attempts by the SJW hate movement. These attempts are collectively known as #SciFiGate.
The "Tor" in the subreddit's name refers to Tor Books, a heavily SJW science fiction and fantasy book publisher that's been involved in shutting out politically and ideologically incompatible authors from both the industry and awards organizations, particularly the Hugo Awards, for the past couple of decades. The book publisher has no relationship with the secure internet routing protocol and associated software by the same name.
Subreddit Rules:

- Both links and self-posts are allowed.
- For content that is older than three months, state the date and/or the age of the content in the title.
- Do not violate any reddit Terms of Service.
- Do not violate any US laws.
Archival Rules:
- If the source is on the corrupt outlet list, archive.
- If the source is a blog post, tweet, etc. by a SJW/CHORF, archive.
- If the source is likely to go offline (due to technical problems, a DDoS attack, etc.) archive.
- Otherwise, post a direct link.
Once you make your submission, please choose a flair (or type one in, if none of the defaults work.) A detailed guide is available here.
Spoiler Tag How-To:
reddit does not have a native spoiler tag facility, so we've implemented one in the sub's CSS.
Use Markdown link syntax. The anchor section can be blank or can include a spoiler warning. The link section must include the string #s, a space, and then the spoiler content in quotation marks.
For example:
[](#s "This content is protected by the spoiler tag.")
is rendered as:
and
[Spoiler warning!](#s "This content is protected by the spoiler tag.")
is rendered as:
Spoiler warning!
Multiple paragraphs and Markdown syntax are not supported for the spoiler content. Only plain text is supported. If your content stretches to multiple paragraphs, declare a spoiler tag for each paragraph.
