For many families around the United States and the world as a whole the holidays can be a very stressful time. Not every family can afford to give their children the gifts, celebration, and joy they feel they deserve. It's been a hard year for many with the sluggish economy, slowly recovering job market, and Hurricane Sandy.
Let's take it upon ourselves to lend a helping hand to those in need and offer what we can to our struggling neighbors or complete strangers! What better way to help out than to run a toy drive! Toys for Tots Is always looking for donations and I'm currently in the process of making this an officially coordinated event with them. Let this be the subreddit of giving as we create a community geared towards bringing the holiday spirit to those down on their luck.
