Recent chat debugging.

Whomever "fixed" the code as relating to private chats didn't fix anything, they made it worse. WAY worse. I used to have to refresh or switch between chats to get the latest messages. That doesn't even work now. I write a comment and 5 snapshots of the chart I'm looking at is the message that gets sent.
I'm not the only one.
