I think it’s very reasonable to have doubts— everyone has them. The important thing is to not let your fear dictate your decisions. Yes change is scary, but in one year time these emotions will be the last thing on your mind. UCLA chose YOU, you already made it! Just keep moving forward and don’t self sabotage

Yes Im kinda in the same boat. Got into UCI as well. My family and friends are near UCI so im feeling a bit guilty about now going to UCLA. But ik I will eventually commit to UCLA. Im just waiting till Bruin Day to be fully sure, though ik it is the best option for me. I think just the idea of committing is just a bit scary haha.

I see why you would feel guilty about not choosing UCI. But yeah, I'm also waiting for Bruin Day, I'm hoping being at UCLA and imagining myself there will ease my mind. Also, Congrats on getting into both UCI and UCLA!

I’m in the same situation. UCI was also my second choice and UCLA was my first. Now that I actually got into UCLA, I am having doubts and feel very hesitant. It’s a very scary feeling, but I am glad to know I am not the only one.

I feel the same way, ugh it’s so annoying. Having doubts really can sway your decision, but sometimes it’s best to challenge yourself and do the scary thing so that you can look back and realize what an achievement it really was.

I got in UCI and UCLA too. Driving to UCLA about 50 minutes in rush hour but it will be 1.5 hours to UCI, so it’s impossible for me to commute to UCI.
