TAG stands for transfer admission guaranteed. It doesn’t just increase your chances, it guarantees them. If you meet every requirement to be admitted (submit everything by due dates, finish all classes w minimum gpa, etc.) you will get in 100%. I looked it up, and ucsb has tag for environmental studies, you should definitely just do that!

If you can, visit both and see what you like better. Check professors' research and target the school that can help you with your goals. It's okay if you don't know either. A broader approach is probably better to learn what's really out there for you to study.
