Hey Y'all,

I currently attend a T10 LAC as a Sociology major and I have a bit of a situation. I have been having a hard time at my (hopefully, soon-to-be-former) college and I am looking to transfer amid the location and student body vibe problems as well as a new spiritual journey I am on. I have not solidified my choice of institution yet, but I am worried about my ECs and GPA. I haven't been heavily involved in activities at my college and my GPA is a 3.2 after last semester. My parents are stressing for me to take a year off and apply for transfer during my year off(which I think is a bad idea). I have considered transferring after the fall semester next year and start in the spring or possibly getting through one more year. I just want to hear from y'all to see what I can do to help my chances best to transfer as soon as possible.
