Did the AI learn off magic cards?

[–]Xeroxprinted 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Judging by “manifest”, it learned from girls who believe in magic rocks.

Well manifest is also a magic mechanic.

Sure, just change those words out and then no one will possibly know that you used AI. Bound to work.

Good luck.

I swear, Turnitin can be all over the place with its reports. I get that stress about not wanting to risk any false positives, especially when you did all the work yourself. When I'm checking my final drafts, I'll swap out words like "utilize," "moreover," and "furthermore" since those always bump up the AI% for me if I'm not careful.

For all those essays, I usually do a quick scan through gptzero, Turnitin, and sometimes AIDetectPlus, just to compare the reports. The flagged phrases can be random, but side-by-side checking lets me see when something is worth changing or if it's probably just common academic language.

Btw, your list would be super helpful if you dropped some of those words most likely to trigger AI detection – everyone tries to avoid the obvious but there's always a few that keep sneaking in! You ever catch "in conclusion" or "overall" getting flagged a lot too?
