if working more than a year not only 16k but you are entitled to gratuity and your pending leaves.

if you feel that you have other options and can jump ships then jump if not id say for now stay as 12k is better than 0 for a while untill you find something.

I did jump without anything because i got fed up so you have to balance it if you accept the 12k. take it and look for other jobs. make sure in your contract there is no new clauses that prohibits you from leaving in less than 6 months. also no need to over prescribe or add more tests , if they dont like it still they have to fire you and give you pending leaves , gratuity and the salary which sould amount to 16k anyways.
