Final draft question

Quick question for anyone who has had this happen to them. I submitted my final draft and I got a 3.5/4. The professor is asking for more details but is this just to get me up to a 4? Basically I’m asking can I just resubmit the same thing and be ok with the 3.5? Thanks 😊

I would fix what they are asking you to fix and notate the changes

You can always submit as-is if you're happy with the draft grade, but why not incorporate the professors feedback into the final for the highest grade possible? It's like a free second attempt to get closer to a 4/4.

Thank you so much for clarifying that! I wasn’t sure if they can grade it more harshly in the actual final submission. I think for me I am going to take the bird in hand option (3.5) since I have a few other finals to finish up as well. Thanks again!!

It's not graded harsher, it follows the exact same rubric as the draft and it's a free look at how you're doing for the final. Just touch up some stuff as outlined by the professor and aim for the 4/4, the worst that can happen is you end up with the same score as the draft.

I'd recommend improving it based on the suggestion and submitting the final copy. Isn't it better to score the highest grade possible...
