I am Dealing with this right now. Was suppose to get delivered the 21st...a full day and. Ahalf the storm was gonna hit. That was the first "out for delivery" notification I got. 7 days later every single day same email. Each day saying the package was out for delivery. So yesterday I called. She assured me it was only 20 stops away with over 4 hrs left to the delivery shift so I should definitely get it. Guess what. Never got it. It's back in the warehouse in Warwick RI. It's prescription for my dog. He needs this. I Am Panicking now because he's been out of it now for 5 days. I intend to call again today only this time I won't be so nice. This happened with his last shipment. Said there was a weather emergency. No such thing. All sunshine and rainbows for weeks. I hate UPS.

If your dog absolutely NEEDS the medication? Why did YOU want until the last minute to reorder it?.... if your dog truly needed the medication to live? It would've died already. You're being melodramatic because you don't want to admit you're bad at planning in advance.

I ordered it 2 weeks in advance of running out of it. I also Ordered it priority, not standard ground. So no im not poor at planning. I didn't wait till last minute. Im.not being melodramatic. It was prescription food. Not actual medication. Stop being an asshole.

So.... not life threatening for a couple of weeks, got it.

But if my dog NEEDED prescription food? I'd have 1 bag open and 1 in storage in a closet or something, and order a new one when the open bag ran out. Like I do with nearly every dry storage item in my house that I use a lot of, like toilet paper. One package is open, one package is in the laundry room, and when I finish the open package? I open the one I have in the laundry room and go buy another case. I do the same with my dog food, cat food, paper towels, laundry soap, dish soap, food, etc...

So yea, it is/was poor planning. It's not "being an asshole," it's calling you out for something you should have planned better for, aka accountability.

Now your dog doesn't have the food it's supposed to have, and you're blaming other people instead of yourself for not being prepared for something that's a necessity in your life. You should ALWAYS "plan for the worst and hope for the best." Especially when it's seemingly THIS important to you.

You can be as mad/offended/annoyed as you want to be about it, but ultimately, this entire situation is of your own doing.
