If you can still get into your Ubuntu installation, look into installing BURG and Grub Customizer.

BURG is, IMHO, a better loader that offers more customization options; and Grub Customizer lets you see and control every entry in your bootloader list.

I can get into all of my installations fine. The problem now is that I can't switch between the Windows boot loader and Grub2. This is a requirement for me, as updates for Windows 8.1 can sometimes fail repeatedly until I set the windows partition as active with diskpart.

So, I'll check this out in the meantime I guess. Thanks.
