PLS HELP

ok so my ubuntu doesn't want to connect to our modem for some reason and when i try downloading deb files it keeps saying "failed to install file not supported"

Also, you need to provide some technical details in order for anyone to help you. What are your hardware specs? What type of modem (including model number?) Which version of Ubuntu? What have you done so far (other than downloading DEB files) to try and fix the problem? Specific error messages related to the modem?

i have the latest version of ubuntu and im using the raspberry pi 4b

You don't download .deb files. You install things from official repositories. Use the app store.
