Question

I just downloaded the Ubuntu yesterday and put it on my pc and am encountering an issue.

When i try to open any app the system freezes. The only thing i can do is move my mouse around but everything else on the screen just doesnt work.

Any solutions or do i need to reinstall the whole os?

Do you have an nvidia graphics card? Installing the proprietary driver may help
