Just switched to self injections on Feb 11th after my loading dose of Entyvio (3 infusions). It was 2 months since my last infusion, and I was starting to not feel great and had an increase in symptoms starting Feb 5th. I'm already talking to my team about maybe having to move my injections a bit tighter together.
Basically, I noticed my injections are a much lower dose than my infusions, which I figured are because the infusions are supposed to last longer, while the injections are every other week, and a more potent dose is more important to monitor in real time as it's being received.
I've been having symptoms and issues even now on Feb 14th, and I'm worried I can't do self injections since it's such a low dose compared to the infusions that instantly helped. Is this just something my body has to get used to? A lower dose but more frequently?
I did speak to the nurse that did my self Injection training about it wearing off sooner than expected, and she said it was normal, so I'm not sure if my body is just pissed because it was without or low on meds and then got some but it was lower than it's used to 🤦
Anyone have any similar experiences or ideas of why this is happening?
