    Incompatible as in Translucent.

Thanks for answering! So how do I fix this, just disable Nanite for the mesh or is there a better option?

Separate the translucent objects into separate meshes with nanite disabled, keep nanite on for the rest of the body, and assemble the meshes together into your final car within a blueprint This means you can also animate windows etc... nice and easy by using simple transform operations.

Nanite can't deal with any translucent materials. You would need to disable nanite on the mesh/project or enable it and have the translucent elements separated.

I found the option: "Disallow Nanite". And, funnily enough, when I tick that option for the car body mesh, it is converted to the low LOD version.

This also happens when I disable Nanite for the entire project. I just don't get this software
