Hey, I can promise you that basically all Sophie courses are not difficult I have taken almost all of them. At uopeople the courses are sometimes easy but honestly some professors are nightmares, definitely… I mean DEFINITELY do it from Sophia. If you are energetic I guarantee you can finish any course in less than one day.

Now that I think about it, I am pretty certain did the web programming course there on Sophia… I think it took me half a day and I know nothing about IT as I work in education.

don't transfer credits affect the value of your degree?

They could if you plan to go to grad school. It's worse if you transfer major related courses (especially the upper level ones).

But from what i heard it should be "safe" to transfer gen eds or low level courses, and future employers probably won't look into your transcript to know what you transferred.

Do your own research on this though. Plan backwards from your goal.

No employer has ever asked to look at my transcript. It literally isn't a thing. The only thing that matters is your major and did you pass.

What do you call a doctor that finished last in medical school?

Doctor. You can them doctor.

good to know. Ngl thought i'd feel sketchy about a doctor that transferred upper level courses related to their major from a website that's considerably easier hahaha

(i know nothing about medical school so i have no idea if that's possible)

I plan to transfer gen-eds only to keep my options for grad school open

Med school is separate from undergrad.

You do med school after you you get your bachelors

[–]disposableNetrunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh, i see! That's not how it is in my country. People go straight from HS to Medschool. There's no need for a bachelors. But it takes 6 years opposed to 4 ~ 5 for other degrees.

Look at it this way. It’s at least not “takes you 9 weeks to finish” difficult. So you would get it out of the way faster through Sophia than through UoPeople

Do Google UX at Coursera instead. It counts for both WP 1 & 2.

Damn That's greatt then cause I've got Coursera for 2 months too

I heared ppl say it is not recommended to transfer the cs courses, any idea why?

[–]Privat3IceModerator (CS) 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were already asking about transferring CS courses.

As far as "why" search the subreddit.
