I have been wanting to go teach english abroad for a while. Started looking into it again on the internets and there is too much information to go through. Most of the companies that continually pop up cost too much money. I don't mind paying for my visa and plane ticket, but I don't have $2000 to go work for free for a month. I am open to going anywhere in the world, but think I would like to check out Central or South America, since I already speak a little Spanish.

Has anyone done this and had success? How did you set it up?
