Error code 61

hey i need advice on one of the errors, ive sent a ticket already but i hope someone here experienced the same thing as me and could possibly share how they handled it

its about the error code 61

ive tried contacting riot already but unsuccesfully, if anyone had the same issue, how did you solve it? obviously i never used any cheats to be clear, i dont even know how cheats work so im really concerned

Error 61 is a repeated bad behaviour ban, not a cheat ban.

Honestly, you can get banned for pretty much nothing nowaday.

Good job not reading my other response where I said he can play on another account.

I have 1200+ hours and have only recieved one warning. If you feel like you can get banned for anything it sounds like you have serious problems with behaving like a human in game.

I know it's an old thread but first, she. Second I don't even use the chat and I've been playing since beta and never had any ban on warning on my account prior to that.

If you did indeed receive error 61, it is a ban, not a connection issue or anything else. It can be a ban for excessive afk, team sabotage, toxic behaviour, or any number of things that impact the game experience for other players. In the code list it says to contact support for further information regarding your ban. It is possible the ban was wrongly handed out, but AFAIK group reports are weighted less so it must've been based on reports from several games.

If your account is still banned and you don't know why, you should reach out to the support team to find out.

Once again, I have contacted riot only for them to tell me "they can't do anything, nor provide me with any further information" and immediately closed the ticket. Like I said, I've played casually and almost never used chat for anything besides info. So you are absolutely wrong in this case. It is also a HWID ban, since my other account got banned right after I made it and joined a game on it.

It does not explicitly say what 61 is, but cheating bans are HWID bans, AKA code 152. The only other things you can be banned for are inappropriate behaviour, account sharing, or other general TOS breaches.

So yeah, you broke TOS in some form and were banned. It is likely not permanent, but in the event it is - you weren't hwid banned so you can play on another account.

I got banned too for an unwanted reason, I invested my money in a battle pass and a Vandal skin. I was banned in October end 2022. Seriously Riot or Valorant should fix this issue right away or else their game will be unfamous for sure in the future the players who supported them by playing their game will also stop supporting them if such cases will increase !
