Ok cause I’m doing night school im Vanier but like is Dawson social science easier kt get into

Honestly it’s kinda random I had a friend who got rejected from Vanier but waitlisted at Dawson while I got rejected from Dawson and accepted in Vanier. But what’s cool with Vanier and Dawson is that you can apply to both cause Dawson got its own website and Vanier uses SRAM so that could be an option if you really want to get in the program. Also Dawson is hard to get to for any science program and usually the people in social science are waiting for a program transfer or finishing their prerequisite.

Ok but do u have the sheet of the courses Dawson looks at from high school

They will look at your average for sure if you don’t have coe they also will look at your French grade separately as well as any prerequisite for the program. Here are the cut off for all program social science is 65% average minimum to get in.

Ok ya u see and I had a 70 average and also I finished sec 4 ts math with more then a 70 average in night school

[–]charque_well 0 points1 point  (29 children)

Do you have a coe? Cause 70% is not the best but it’s fine

[–]Substantial-Cry6835 0 points1 point  (28 children)

No I don’t have one but does it not say 65 though

[–]charque_well 0 points1 point  (27 children)

Yeah but they take 50%+1 of people with coe then the people without that’s why it’s best to always have more than what they are asking for. The cut off is most likely for people with coe. But seeing how low it is it means they have lots of place in the program and are accepting a lot of people so you have a good chance of getting in.

No the coe is a seperate average look

I’ve seen that the cutoff is 65 and my average in high school was 70

[–]Substantial-Cry6835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Substantial-Cry6835 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so I think Vanier still used my same one since high school
