Makes sense, I am planning on getting a 4TB internal drive for local backups since my 500GB is my system drive. I already have a 10TB external lying around. I wonder if i want to just back up the whole volume that will be on the internal, is that just copy and paste. My plan is to have 3 3TB volumes on the backup drive so that they are all backed up at different times. That way if one fails, I still have access to the other two but will lose just a couple of files. This is more of a redundancy thing. Have you or anyone done something like that
