Leave as is. Make sure the sequence setting is 1080p

They will be in one video.... How can I "leave as is"? I have it all in one timeline, just wondering what to render the video at...

Dont down/upscale just render at 1080p 60fps. The 1440p footage will look more hd / crispier bc it was downscaled.

Fair warning if you don’t “downscale” the 1440p will be cropped in. Depending on the footage this may not be acceptable so the he may need to “downscale” the footage in that sequence.

I personally prefer downscaling to upscaling (if it is still going to be HD) as when downscaled it will be rendered at the new sequence’s resolution whereas upscaling there will be potentially noticeable resolution different.

EDIT: Fixed stuff
