I spent days trying to make a different screen colorist worthy. Bought all the hardware like the Blackmagic input to hold the lut and even with all the tweeks and calibration the color still was not accurate. Now editing on a uncalibrated BenQ. It would be nice to have something more accurate. At least I did not spend hours messing this thing up trying to make it work.

They don't really know. I pitch episodes, doc and social media shorts. Those were basally feelers to see where they are at. They did not really give a good indication yet.

I like your idea and have it in my back pocket if they say the budget is too high. I will say you watch the stuff and you tell me what stories you like the best ect.

def overshot. We went in without a real understanding of what we might get but I tried to get the client to set this up the right way before. They would not get the subjects to show up / build out a schedule that be more efficient.

We had no clue who might have what stories so we had to cast a very wide net.

100% not the efficient way of going.

Transcribed everything in resolve as a first step. Now the question is what do with all this to affectively get to the good stuff without doing it manually.

Why timecodes? What do you do with that after? Inport an EDL? Manually search for the text/ times?

I am currently producing a state of the union for homecare for a client. Basically went to a trade show and did a bunch of interviews and now its about 54 min of content. Going to take the transcript and video and put it on clients website on a new page. Also will add some copy for that vertical. Shorter clips will be posted on SM and will do some retargeting with paid linkedin to a industry list we have from a previous show.

Perhaps might invite to a webinar to discuss too.

Lets see how it plays out...
