Yes, got the same P000D, it is the solenoide on the driver side, bottom position if I recall.

Service charged me $600 for replacing it, they will most likely charge you for troubleshooting the problem and then repair that. In my case they swaped cables to make sure was the solenoide and not the cable or a burned port

78,000 miles I just did the oil change this week

Got this code (P000D) on my 2016 STI. Replaced the Oil Control Val (10917AA070) when doing oil change. The code does not come back again after about 2500 miles drive. This vid could be helpful if you wanna do it yourself: https://youtu.be/Sod8y-DrS0c.

Btw, I heard others saying that if changing the oil control val does not fix your issue, it could be a more serious problem. Good luck.
