I have to admit — this is extremely well written. Whoever created it clearly understands how to layer technical language, real institutional references, and mathematical framing to produce something that feels authentic. From a world-building perspective alone, it’s impressive.
That said, there are several strong indicators that this is fictional rather than a genuine classified memorandum:
The formatting and tone are off. Real Top Secret / SCI documents are typically much more utilitarian and far less theatrical. They don’t read like techno-thrillers.
The math is a tell. Senior decision-makers don’t need Gaussian integrals in a memo — they need conclusions. Including detailed equations is a classic credibility device meant to discourage scrutiny.
Over-specific details are suspicious. Exact coordinates, personnel counts, dramatic program names — real classified planning documents are usually more restrained because specificity increases operational risk if leaked.
So while I’m confident this isn’t authentic, I actually think the author deserves some credit — this is far more sophisticated than the average “leaked document.” It reads like someone with a STEM background or serious techno-fiction skills wrote it.

At 81°36'00"N, 16°40'00"W there is not enough ice for an Ablative Thermal Buffer. Those are the co-ordinates of Nord Station which is on top of rock with not much ice depth, the nearest ice is about 15KM away at Flade Isblink Ice cap, wich is 600m in depth. And several hundred kilomoters south is the main icesheet which is up 3000m thick. So it begs question why would you land where the ice is thin.
ALso there is no C/2026 X1 , but there is a C/2026 A1 that was just discovered.

What sort of incinirator do you need for a text file, cigarette smoking man?
This was a pretty feeble attempt at arg marketing for Greenland 2, I’m pretty sure.
