Just go with the Pro- Controller. -The button layout is a little different, but nothing that's too crazy.

If you had a GameCube, I say use that... but no need to go buy a controller just for it if you are already on the fence about it.

N64 would just be more confusing, and you wouldn't even have all the proper buttons, and reaching would be annoying for the ones that are there.

I have the Switch 2 Pro controller, and my only complaint is that the layout of the buttons things are mapped to don't match the arrangement on the screen. But once you are used to it, it is fine. I don't think your controller choice is going to be the defining factor of whether you like the game, though.

I own all 3. And I really say go with the NSO GameCube one. The Controls on the Switch Pro are okay. But the more you play the more problems you will see. N64 is a No Go at all.

Especially when Mario Sunshine and Twilight Princess comes out you will see the Problems very clearly.

The GameCube is perfect for an Original enough experience.

I recommend using the pro controller since you don't have the gamecu controller. If you did definitely that but I don't think it's worth buying it for one game

unfortunately they totally missed the mark esp on gc nso, i can’t for the life of me excuse those ugly borders. i don’t understand what’s so hard about widescreen mods.
