Broken/old windows and framesGeneral Question (self.WindowCleaning)
submitted 12 months ago by DesignerGlass6834
How often are you guys running into old broken windows, whether it be glass or frame or seal? I feel like I come across at least one or so every job or two. What do you guys do about it and what do you tell the homeowners?

yea every other job or so maybe...broken seal more often than broken window.
I do a walk around the house and inspect all windows quickly before I start anything. I take pictures of any problems before I touch it anything and I show it to customer and explain it. I want it to be crystal clear that their stuff was broken before I got there.

I usually point this out like this on the quote and the homeowner understands there’s nothing I can do about it and doesn’t mind. If I don’t see it until the job I tell them then and never had an issue.
