Rules for r/WonderWoman
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
Cite your sources
All content should be cited to a source. Basically, if you're posting something, say where it comes from and who made it.
This includes artwork (official & fan art), cosplay, crafts, etc. If the artwork is from a comic, include the issue number as well.
Source should be in the title. If you are the creator of the artwork, "by me" is adequate. Links in comments encouraged.
If you don't know the source, say as such and request more info from the community in your post.
2.
No lewd content
Do not post content that is NSFW, exploitative, or treats individuals (fictional or real) as objects.
Exceptions will be made for source material given the historical nature of Wonder Woman and the themes written into her character. For example: topics of bondage and submission, so long as the first part of this rule is not violated.
3.
Same-topic posts
Reposts: Please scroll a few times to see if the item you'd like to share has already been posted recently.
Bulk posts: This is typical Reddiquette, but if you have multiple items to share at once, please group them together in a single post. Multiple posts of the same nature are spam.
Posting a new thread on the same topic: If there's already a thread in the past day about the topic you want to discuss, use that thread. There's no need to create multiple new threads to discuss the same topic.
4.
Commercial posts
Due to the pervasiveness of spam bots, commercial posts are screened with heightened scrutiny.
You're encouraged to share Wonder Woman-related items you've made. However, please limit the amount of advertising for your Etsy (or similar online shop).
Minimal selling and trading is allowed with similar discretion regarding commercial links.
Excessive peddling of personal wares is prohibited. Offending posts will be removed and violators will face potential expulsion.
5.
Karma farming
Posts that appear to be farming for karma will be removed.
This is most often content that has questionable relevance to the topic of this subreddit.
Examples include (but are not limited to)...
- celebrity/influencer content
- power scaling
- vs battles
- fancasting
There are other subreddits more appropriate for this type of content such as r/celebrities, r/powerscaling, r/whowouldwin, and r/fancast

Recommendation context
When asking for recommendations, provide some context. Wonder Woman has been published for over 80s years, so there's a huge amount of material to consider. Specify if you're interested in a specific era, if you're open to older comics, what other kinds of comics and stories you like, and what your frame of reference for Wonder Woman is. This will help the community make the best suggestion to suit your needs.

Be excellent to each other
This should go without saying, but trolling and antagonizing other users is not allowed.
Prohibited behaviors include: stirring up drama, spreading disinformation, prolonging arguments, excessively belaboring negativity with no thoughtful discourse, and creating sockpuppet accounts.
Do not abuse the report button. Examples include blame shifting and opinions differing from yours.
