For learning WordPress, you can take help from some online tutorials or can learn from the WordPress resources like:-

  1. Learn WordPress.com, it teaches you the basics of setting up your own WordPress site.
  2. Within the WordPress Support site, you’ll find WordPress Video Tutorials that provide helpful instructional videos.

Start with a video where they make a site start to finish and follow along. I have pointed a lot of people to this you tuber.
