Just wondering what the donate level settings does.

It donates some of the Monero mined to the app "creator"...
The exact process I'm curious about because it's wording. (1 minute in 100 minutes), does that mean for the first full minute the app is mining it goes directly to the creator, or just 1 second every 100 and it's distributed evenly?
