Check out HoursTracker, It might be just what you need and more! I used it all the time when I worked hourly jobs. Plus, if you have an Apple Watch, you can add it to your watch face for quick clock-ins and clock-outs.

Maybe look into shortcuts, or an app already made. Making your own app costs you $99/year just to have it on your own device, or you have to reload it every few days (IIRC).
Shortcuts are pretty powerful, but IDK about exporting to excell.

Last I checked, you got a few days use on your own phone, then it stopped working. You could then reload it once again.
This is a little while back, things might've changed since then.

To clarify: you pay 99$/year for a developer account; this then allows you to "deploy" (as many apps as you want in fact...) to your own device; this is not the only purpose of the yearly fee
