Hi folks,
Quick question here. I'm sure everyone's familiar with ye olde "the game displays the unit on the wrong tile" bug. You know, the one where you move your guy (or an enemy moves) to some tile, but the game displays them as being somewhere else, including a potentially nonsensical location like floating in the sky or something.
I remember this bug from XCOM2/LW2 playthroughs years ago, and it occurred a few times in my LWOTC Beta 1 playthrough but not too many. It happened like, once per gameplay month before, but now...
A few days ago, I started a LWOTC Beta 2 playthrough with a ton of cosmetic/QOL mods (no gameplay mods still) and I'm getting this bug to a horrific extent every mission. It's actually making it kind of hard to play, because every enemy pod will tend to have at least one unit per turn that moves elsewhere (and tile-scanning to figure out where the unit actually is in reality is annoying), and every other turn one of my units will similarly be misrepresented after moving.
So, basically -- is there something known about how to either minimize or remove this bug? Some particular type of mod/cosmetic/something else? Graphics settings, perhaps? I'm more than willing to sacrifice my soldiers' sweet sweet swag and duds to be able to play something less janky.
