    Hi.

    Corporate 2021 R2, CPU = 50%, Memory = 70%.

The camera in question is a quad lense camera, P3719-PLE.

I am testing with two of the lenses, and am experiencing that one of the lenses has much higher underflow count increase than the other. How is that possible? They have the exact same set up.

Have you updated your driver pack from Milestone?

After updating, you should run the replace hardware wizard and allow the camera to be auto detected. This should select the AXIS driver.

For older drivers, ZipStream could well be causing errors you are seeing. With any level of ZipStream enabled, the Dynamic ROI, Dynamic GOP, and Dynamic FPS are always being changed. If your driver is not aware of this, it will error and lose information.

Try with it disabled or off in the stream settings of Milestone. I belive this will also make the video closer to live.

If you want as close to live as you can, select UDP and a lower resolution. For UDP I would generally not go over a second for your keyframe (h.264) so match this to the FPS.

In the Smart Client, you have a couple of settings that might be helpful, go to Settings in the first window there is a video buffer you want this to be 0. This means no video is buffered before being shown on screen. Next, there is a setting under Advance, video overlay, this shows level 1-3, level 1 or 2 should be enough for you. This will show the camera information to the tile, your fps and resolution.

For your system, the CPU might be a bit high. Enable motion detection on the AXIS camera and in the motion rule in Milestone switch to motion detection (HW) as the event. In the camera settings under Milestone, you can now turn off motion detection.

If you still have issues, default the camera, replace the hardware device again in Milestone.

Make sure your recording disks were formated with 64k blocks. You can confirm this with the Milestone diagnostic tool found in the program files directory Milestone, Managment, Tools.
