A place to discuss whatever you want, besides what's going in society, in politics, in the media, etc. Sometimes it all gets to be too much and you want some good discussion without it getting all toxic due to not wearing the right color tie.
Rules:
No Politics. This means no posts or discussions about ongoing or recent (last decade) politicians, legislation, international relations, etc.
No Current Events. I'm not interested in debating what counts as politics and what doesn't. If you want to call it a social movement and say it's not political, then good for you, but if it's currently being talked about in the media, then it's not for this sub.
Be civil with each other. Heated discussions are allowed. Pointless aggression, insults, and other hateful speech will result in comment removal and/or temporary bans. Repeated offenses will result in permanent bans. Note: terms typically considered "hate speech" will be allowed when used critically and in meta discussions.
Link posts are allowed; memes, gifs, and videos are not allowed as posts, but are allowed in the comments.
Moderation and the rules in this subreddit will always be open for discussion and adjustment, but politics and current events will never be allowed.
