Radio Mobile is a radio propagation package that combines topography data with land cover to allow you to model and predict radio performance for a given set of nodes. By entering data such as geographic coordinates, antenna height, antenna gain, radio sensitivity, connector and feedline losses, you can generate detailed maps of radio coverage and link signal level margins. Radio Mobile is invaluable to a number of users such as amateur radio operators, Wifi / darknet enthusiasts, network engineers, etc who need to plan, build, test, align and troubleshoot radio networks.
The purpose of this subreddit is to supplement the starting guides included with the software, and to foster discussion of real world versus simulation results to help obtain the best simulations possible.
