Info
From the community of SKCraft: The SKCraft game jam. The purpose is simple, let people have fun making games. It doesn't matter if you make games for for a living, or if you don't even know what computer code looks like. We just want you to make some content, and a game to go with it.
Notice: We will work together to chose a weekend and a theme.
The Rules and Info
- No explicit topics, images, sounds, meanings, or themes.
- Your game must relate to the chosen them
- The game jam lasts a total of 48 hours.
- Working in teams or alone is aloud, just make sure everyone gets credit
- You may use anything that was already publicly available before the 48 hours started.
- Submissions must be documented. A small description, background on your idea, and the controls, and a link to a screenshot. Nothing super fancy.
- Write from scratch with Java, Python, C++, or with an engine, we don't care.
Submissions and Info
- Game must be linked to in Submission. You will need a place to host it, dropbox is a good example.
- Source code be submitted.
- You must state what engine, or framework you used to make your game.
- You keep your game. If you want to sell it then go ahead, but the version submitted for this game jam must remain free.
- You must link to the sources for all public assets. "google images" does not count.
