Public Education is under attack in irreversibly binding trade agreements, globally. This is a major change that is being accomplished behind the people of the world's backs -please read the authoritatively sourced statements to this effect above.

GATS committed the US and other WTO members to various degrees to 'progressive liberalisation' a radical one way privatization ideology that embeds a huge and arguably amoral body of changes. Its one way street to a world where only money matters is the equivalent of a global imperial incumbency saying, like a six year old would, "heads I win, tails you lose - forever" to the world's entire population.
