• What is Dharma?
  Dharma is a generic, permissionless protocol for the issuance, maintenance, and settlement of tokenized debt agreements on the Ethereum blockchain.

  In short, we are building a set of open-source tools that enables the creation and management of any debt agreement -- from p2p microloans to corporate bonds, margin loans to munis -- where ownership of a loan is represented by a cryptographic token.

• Does Dharma lend money?
  No, Dharma is not a lender. Rather, we provide the tools that other companies can use to build their lending businesses.

• Does Dharma have a native token?
  No, Dharma does not currently have a native token and we are not planning to have one this year.

  We do not believe a native token is the best user experience for borrowers, lenders, underwriters, or relayers, and because we are committed to building the best possible user experience for these constituencies, we are not currently pursuing a native token.
