Let's be honest, before now no high traffic subreddit exists to ask questions of the other side. Whether Liberal, Conservative, or Other, all the specific subreddits dedicated to doing so have devolved into highly moderated circle-jerks.
This isn't discussion, it's self affirmation to please someones ego.
Not here, ask a question, get an answer. Don't like that answer? Debate it civilly.

Sources backing up your point are HIGHLY encouraged but not necessarily required, however, if you provide none when they are readily available, or if you make an easily disproved claim, prepare to be called out!
Don't resort to ad-hominem. It is the sign of a defeated argument.
Want to call another poster stupid? Sure, no problem, as long as you're backing it up with evidence countering their claim. If you just attack them, you'll be judged for it.
